Above is a tip for Ford 4.0 liter engine - oil pan
gasket problems.
The
oil pan designed changed in 1994 and so did the
gasket shown C. The wedge seal is no longer used
because it's shape is built into the gasket. Silicone
is still nessesary across the main cap and in the
cavities between the cap and the block.
