Above is a tip for a Chevrolet Vortec engine - timing
chain cover replacement is necessary on your new
engine.
NOTE:
If your timing cover has a crank position sensor
in it, you will also need to remove the reactor
ring, as shown above, and reuse it on the replacement
engine.
